ASTROANTEDILUVIAN

Digital art of my hyena fursona Blake, drawn in the style of Astroantediluvian by Darius. The lines are incredibly freeform, loose, and jagged. There are vivid accents of cyan, magenta, and yellow, and incredibly sporadic twisting shapes and lightning bolt motifs throughout, namely 3 lightning bolts erupting from one eye, and as well as in several shattering shapes to his side.

The characters are visually similar enough that the only major changes made were his long hair, larger ear, and lack of glasses. The same as previous, but on a black background Same as the initial white version, but without the yellow, giving a better look below his neck. He has on what seems to be a very loose sweater with a wide neck hole that sits at his shoulders. Same, but in black Back to white, now with the cyan removed, showing only the magenta highlight Same, but in black A work in progress image of this piece. It shows the white and black backgrounds side by side, with sketches of the surrounding shapes, some of them have been mostly refined to their final result. A collection of the yellow shapes in this piece, with unique names given to distinguish them, those names being 'Wackbend', 'Ribbedhook', 'Shattertri', 'Doublebolt', 'Boltboom', 'Spiral', 'Piratehook', and 'Doubletake'

I've lost count of how many times I've listened to this album front to back. I found myself drawn into the visual motifs just as much as the sound, and playing with sporadic, freeform shapes is how I've made some of my favorite works.

I'd recently been working with vectors for my big project and a lot of this came really naturally as a result. Here I was fully in my element, and I made myself very happy and very satisfied. Check out the buttons for the other versions (and names I gave some shapes for organization) too!
