Site Assets - Disc

A 3D model of a CD, downsized to a low resolution and dithered in the style of old web graphics. It has a vivid rainbow gradient The same CD as seen originally in Bryce 3D. It hovers above a blank field of grass, with a more plain appearance, and a less clear inner ring The same, wireframe view The same, now being rendered as an image, in a black void VRChat greenscreen photo of Blake lying on his belly with a smug and sultry gaze to the viewer, pointing out of frame to his right. He's got on his turtleneck sweater dress, and his legs are folded up. How cute The same, now in a waving position, looking at the viewer and smiling with legs crossed Unused 2 frames of Blake on his belly, touching his fingertips together timidly

Getting back to working on my website meant I wanted to make a ton of fun assets for it!!

One of these included a lil "desktop buddy" style image set of Blake that follows your cursor around and points at things you hover over. I had this idea and got on my trackers for some VR photos right away. With GoGo Freeze (Asset for VRChat models) I was able to freeze parts of the body I wasn't using, to keep them consistent across frames.

The result with that was really nice!! I was propped up on a pillow which may be why my back was hurting for a few days after lol. I also repurposed my Bryce CD from a couple years ago again (I've done this a few times), this time keeping with the oldschool web graphic dithering and fun gradients.

I gave it a touch up and pored over the esoterica of Bryce 3D until I had a look I wanted, and then downscaled it with the VRChat frames. I included full res versions (green darkened+desaturated to protect yr eyes), and some bonus frames that I never figured out what to do with! So enjoy them here!

This was one of the most fun and rewarding projects I've done and, if I'm honest, a great centerpiece to this whole place. I just love it!! I thought so much as a kid about how cool mocap is, and now I'm just.. doing it!! It's so much more personal. That's me wavin' at u! There I am!!!

Thank you to my friend Claire who also helped with the javascript stuff! It's really where it all came together so very very big thanks to her for that
