oh my god this game is so fun

  I'm not sure what compelled me to finally try this out! I've known abt it for a few years, I've never tried Sonic Robo Blast 2 (although now I want to even more) but it apparently uses more or less the same Doom engine? It's really technical as far as kart racers go and there's a.. ton of stuff (why does the game have DI. you're scaring me)

  It's got a really fun Grand Prix mode, even if the rubberbanding is kind of annoying, and also local split screen and online multiplayer (also Linux support). A ton of secrets and amazing (sometimes baffling) level design and character appearances, guides for custom characters, custom levels... so much...

A fangame can get away with a lot of stuff the main studio wouldn't. Surge's voice lines are apparently lifted from Kill La Kill lol. Stuff like that. It's very fun!!
